This is to inform you that Tbilisi Transport Company LLC (TTC) is conducting a market research in advance of the future procurement of metro rolling stock (trains). TTC intends to finance the procurement by applying an International Financial Institution’s (IFI) loan for procurement to follow the IFI’s procurement policy requirements. More details will be provided in the tender notice and tender document once available.
The objectives of the market research include understanding the market capacity and preparing the future tender documentation. Information provided and received in this process will not have a binding purpose and no information will be used by TTC for unintended purpose.
The attached documentation is intended to provide the market with summary details of the future requirements for Tbilisi metro rolling stock and gather information regarding the availability of trains and their pricing in the market.
We would be grateful if you could review the attached market research documentation and provide TTC with your responses. We are specifically seeking to receive from you the following information:
1. Your ability to offer metro trains based on the proposed technical parameteres. Please provide additional comments or suggestions, if different.
2. Your capacity in respect of the manufacturing/delivery of the above – please indicate maximum quantity you can manufacture/supply per year
3. Your response to the enclosed experience questionnaire
4. An indication of your current (non-binding) price for the metro trains in question, in EUR, assuming a total quantity of 100 cars (20-25 trains - please refer to the enclosed
